BOSIAK MOVES TO 4-0 AT #UNIFIED25
Dec 22, 2015
EDMONTON — It didn’t take long for Aaron Bosiak to notch the fourth win of his professional career Friday evening at #Unified25 in Edmonton.
Less than a minute, in fact.
According to Bosiak, almost everything went perfectly — except his health. Prior to entering the cage, the St. Albert product dealt with a nasty stomach flu.
“About five hours after weighing in, I came down with the flu,” Bosiak says. “I slept all day, I didn’t eat yesterday up until about an hour before heading to the event, and I felt like absolute (expletive). But I trained my ass off to fight, and I’m not going to let anything stop me.
“I had a point to prove, so nothing was going to stop me.”
With the victory, Bosiak improved to 4-0 as a pro, with all of his wins coming by stoppage, including three in the first round. The Complete Fitness and Martial Arts fighter now wants to take a huge step up in competition — hopefully for the #UnifiedMMA Lightweight Championship.
“I definitely would love to fight for the title,” Bosiak says, smiling. “That’s basically why I’m still fighting. I want a championship belt for my kids, so I can show them that anything is possible if they work hard enough … Whatever comes my way, I just want bigger fights with tougher and tougher opponents.”
