Fast-rising Jett Grande takes flight at Unified 58
Jun 6, 2024
EDMONTON — Jett Grande is counting down the seconds to June 14.
On that date at Unified 58, he returns to action against Ryan Rohovich at River Cree Resort & Casino in Edmonton, AB, LIVE worldwide on UFC Fight Pass.
“I’m feeling great; everything is on point,” Grande says heading into the biggest fight of his blossoming career.
“I’ve been getting great work in in all aspects of the game. My conditioning is on point, my strength is on point, and the weight cut will be easy. I feel great.”
The 26-year-old Red Deer, AB lightweight is quickly establishing himself as one of the top prospects in Canada. His 5-1-1 record includes three knockouts. Prior to entering the pro ranks, he was a world champion under the International Mixed Martial Arts Federation banner.
Grande takes a lot of pride in improving on a fight-to-fight basis, so he’s excited to showcase his progression on fight night.
“There’s no reason not to be improving. You can always find ways to improve in martial arts, which is what I like to do,” he says. “I’m always trying to grow as much as possible – that’s my philosophy.”
Grande will be hunting for the finish against Rohovich. He knows another big win on UFC Fight Pass will take him a big step closer to securing a life-changing contract with the UFC.
“After this fight, I’m going to get back to training hard as quickly as possible,” he says. “Whether or not I get a call from the UFC or Contender Series next, my goal is to just keep training and be as active as possible this year.”
