How did it feel to have that belt wrapped around your waist?

Felt good. Was a big deal to be able to keep the belt on our gym where it belonged. Getting that win while avenging my loss couldn’t have been better.

Has anything changed now that you’re the champ? Do you feel like there’s a target on your back now?

It’s business as usual. Everybody that steps into that cage has put a target on my back, belt or no no belt. I just have to show them how foolish that is.

What does Grayson Wells bring to the table?

Grayson’s been fighting for a while. He’s a smaller heavyweight, but he’s got good range and technical striking.

What’s the most likely outcome for this fight?

Ref will jump in to save Grayson in the first.

What will a victory do for your career?

Victories never hurt. But I’m starting to climb up in the rankings and people are starting to take note. That being said there are still some Canadians with aspirations towards my belt, so I’d like to do some housecleaning before I go anywhere else.

Is there anything you’d like fans to know about you, while you have this chance?

Just that they haven’t seen anything yet. Stay tuned.
