Heavyweight Championship on the line at Unified 45

EDMONTON – Christian Larsen will defend his Unified MMA Heavyweight Championship against UFC vet Rashad “Daywalker” Coulter at Unified 45 on May 27 at River Cree Resort & Casino in Enoch, AB, LIVE on UFC Fight Pass.

Larsen will try to improve to 7-2 in his second title defense. Widely regarded as the top heavyweight prospect in Canada, Larsen has finished five of his six opponents in the first round, and the Shaved Bears MMA product is yet to see a third round in his impressive career.

Coulter, meanwhile, brings a 9-5 record into his Canadian debut. After five straight first-round finishes, the hard-hitting Bellator vet signed with the UFC, where he competed four times. A professional since 2011, Coulter represents the esteemed Fortis MMA camp in Dallas, TX.

Unified 45 will also feature Ryan “The Real Deal” Ford (23-5), KB “The Bengal” Bhullar (11-3), and Neal Anderson (11-4), among many other established Canadian stars and top prospects from the United States.

Before Unified 45 on May 27 in Edmonton, Unified MMA makes its highly anticipated debut in Calgary, with Unified 44 on May 6 at 7 Chiefs Sportsplex at Tsuut’ina Nation. The event, which will air LIVE on UFC Fight Pass, features Noah “The Chosen Defender” Ali (10-5-1) versus Gabe Sagman (7-4) for the vacant Unified MMA Bantamweight Championship, the Unified debut of Tom “Big Nasty” O’Connor (9-2), the return of Zack Powell (5-1) and much more.
