James Lynch joins Unified MMA family

EDMONTON – Renowned journalist James Lynch has joined forces with Unified MMA to provide fight fans exclusive interviews with Canada’s best fighters.

Widely regarded as one of the combat sports world’s best sources of information and entertainment, Lynch will interview several fighters from each Unified MMA card for the organization’s social media channels, starting with athletes from Unified 43, which takes place March 4 at River Cree Resort & Casino in Enoch, AB, LIVE on UFC Fight Pass.

James Lynch: “As a big proponent of Canadian MMA coverage, I’m absolutely thrilled to be working with Unified MMA. I’ve had the pleasure of interviewing Unified MMA fighters in the past like Tanner Boser and Tristan Connelly prior to them signing with the UFC. I’m excited to speak with the next generation of talent coming through the ranks in Unified MMA.”

Lynch’s pre-fight interviews will help set the stage for John Ramdeen and Mitch Clarke, the best broadcast duo in Canadian combat sports, on the UFC Fight Pass telecast.

Widely known and respected among Canadian MMA fans for his extensive work on The Fight Network, Ramdeen has made a career of calling fights and other martial arts competitions around the world for some of the biggest organizations in the sport for nearly two decades.

Clarke became the first (and so far only) MMA fighter from Saskatchewan to sign with the UFC when the former Unified MMA headliner made his Octagon debut in 2011. Clarke fought seven times in the UFC, including a notable victory over former title challenger Al Iaquinta, and he has since established himself as one of the top MMA coaches in Canada.

Ryan Rother is the ring announcer and the voice of Unified MMA inside the cage. Ryan is a former title challenger for the Unified MMA Lightweight Championship.
