KB Bhullar talks Unified 40 fight: “This is a true main event”

Jan 28, 2020

EDMONTON Undefeated Unified MMA Middleweight Champion KB “The Bengal” Bhullar is back in action at Unified 40 on March 14 at River Cree Resort & Casino.

Waiting for him in the main event slot is his toughest challenge yet, Jordan Williams. Williams is the proud owner of two stoppage victories in the Bellator MMA cage and earned the praise of UFC boss Dana White for his bout on Contender Series in Las Vegas.

“Respect to Jordan Williams; he’s a highly skilled and tough fighter that poses unique challenges. Amongst a lot of individuals that said no, Jordan stepped up to fly across the border and challenge for the title and I’m excited to test myself against him,” says Bhullar, who brings a spotless 8-0 record into battle.

“I know, given our styles and our reputations, this fight fits the bill for a true main event. I’m going to do everything in my power to reign the victor, and undisputed Unified MMA Middleweight Champion.”

In the co-main event, Christian Larsen defends his Heavyweight Championship for the first time against challenger Grayson Wells. Larsen is 5-1 as a pro, with all of his wins coming before the start of the third round. His most recent victory — a 70-second KO over Jared Kilkenny — earned him the belt. All of Wells’ victories, meanwhile, have come via KO. Also, Graham Park defends his Light-Heavyweight Title for the first time versus Neil Berry. Park has won seven of his first nine fights, including four straight by first-round stoppage. Berry returns to the Unified MMA cage in pursuit of his 10th win as a pro. The Lethbridge fighter has shared the cage with three UFC vets.
