Kickboxing icon Simon “The One” Marcus makes MMA debut at Unified 42 on UFC Fight Pass

EDMONTON — The most decorated kickboxer in Canadian history, Simon “The One” Marcus, will make his highly anticipated mixed martial arts debut at Unified 42 on Dec. 17 at River Cree Resort & Casino in Enoch, AB, LIVE on UFC Fight Pass.

Marcus, a 34-year-old product of Toronto, is a two-time Glory Middleweight Kickboxing Champion. He boasts an official kickboxing record of 49-5. He holds notable victories over current UFC Middleweight Champion Israel Adesanya, former Glory champion Joe Schilling (two) and UFC light-heavyweight contender Dustin Jacoby (two).

Marcus: “I’m very excited to be entering the Octagon and showing the world who I am. It’s business as usual. I’m here to take over the whole damn thing, nothing less.”

Marcus’ bout is one of two highly anticipated striking showcases on display at Unified 42, as Shane “Shaolin” Campbell (17-8 MMA, 69-10 kickboxing)) and Hubert “The Gipsy King” Geven (13-3 MMA, 45-5-5 kickboxing) throw down for the Unified MMA Lightweight Championship.
