Main, Co-Main announced for Unified Boxing debut on UFC Fight Pass

EDMONTON – The Main Event and Co-Main Event of the inaugural Unified Boxing Promotions event, scheduled for May 26 at River Cree Resort & Casino in Enoch, AB, LIVE on UFC Fight Pass, have been announced. 

In the Main Event, Canadian fighting legends Ryan “The Real Deal” Ford and Jordan “Young Gun” Mein will meet at 180 pounds. Both fighters bring exceptional resumes into this historic headline showdown. Ford, the former Unified MMA Canadian Super-Welterweight Champion and WBC International Silver Light-Heavyweight Champion, is 24-6 with 13 knockouts as an MMA fighter and 17-8 with 12 KOs as a professional boxer. Mein’s impressive body of work includes nine fights under the UFC banner. The Bellator MMA vet’s record as a professional MMA fighter is 31-13, with 16 victories coming by KO. He was awarded a pair of $50,000 UFC Performance Bonuses during his time in the most competitive promotion on the planet.

A pair of Canadian MMA fan-favourites – UFC vet KB “The Bengal” Bhullar and Cody “Donkey” Krahn – clash in the Co-Main Event. Bhullar is a veteran of 17 pro MMA fights, including a 7-1 record under the Unified MMA banner, and the owner of five wins by KO. Krahn’s impressive 30-fight MMA career also includes five knockouts.
