Ksiazkiewicz needed just 85 seconds to defeat Park, who entered the cage 8-2 on the strength of five straight first-round finishes – good for the fastest KO of the year in the Unified MMA cage.
“I feel like my fight played out perfectly. I went out there and did exactly what I wanted to do, finishing it with one punch, essentially,” says Ksiazkiewicz, who climbed to 9-1 with the win.
“I envisioned finishing him with strikes in the second round because he had never been out of the first round. But, once I connected, I knew that the fight was over.”
Ksiazkiewicz believes his Super-Middleweight Championship belt will open doors to more opportunities on the global stage.
“Opportunity is knocking,” Ksiazkiewicz says.
“One year from today, I see myself fighting in the UFC,” he adds. “One-hundred percent.”
