EDMONTON – “The Beast” is ready to feast.

Hard-hitting American Jamelle Jones makes his debut on Canada’s Ultimate Proving Ground at Unified 46 as he challenges the champ Chris Larsen for the Unified MMA Canadian Heavyweight Title on Sept. 23 at River Cree Resort & Casino, LIVE on UFC Fight Pass.

“I am a finisher. We both fight for the finish, so this is going to be a great fight for the fans,” said Jones, whose 12-8 record includes eight KOs and a pair of submissions.

“We’re going to collide in the middle of the cage, and we’ll see who wins.”

Jones brings an impressive resume to his Canadian debut, with appearances on The Ultimate Fighter, Dana White’s Contender Series, Bellator, Pro Fight League and CES MMA on UFC Fight Pass. He also wrestled at North Idaho College and Campbellsville University prior to his pro MMA debut in 2013.

Jones has wanted to fight for Unified MMA since before the pandemic, and he’s hungry to add another title to his resume – his first international championship.

Jones has no problem praising Larsen, but he fully plans on leaving Canada with his 13th victory and a new belt for his collection.

“My prediction? Finish,” Jones said. “Execute the game plan and finish the fight.”
