Aug 20, 2021
EDMONTON — The Main Event and Co-Main Event are set for Unified 41, which goes down Sept. 24 at River Cree Resort & Casino in Enoch, AB, LIVE on UFC Fight Pass.
In the Main Event, UFC vet Shane “Shaolin” Campbell battles The Ultimate Fighter alum Mike “The Mercenary” Hill for the vacant Unified MMA Super-Lightweight Championship. Very few fighters have done as much damage as Edmonton’s Campbell in the Unified cage; the multi-time champion holds an unparalleled record of 9-0 under the Unified banner. Hill, who represents British Columbia, has also long been regarded as one of Canada’s most dangerous fighters. His 11 victories since 2010 include notable wins over Mike Scarcello, Cody Krahn, Spencer Jebb and Ryan Dickson.
In the Co-Main Event, Edmonton’s Christian Larsen defends his Unified MMA Heavyweight Championship for the first time against challenger Grayson Wells. Larsen, a teammate of UFC heavyweight star Tanner Boser, boasts a record of 5-1 in the Unified cage, with all of his victories coming in the first round. Wells, a product of British Columbia, returns to the Unified cage looking for his sixth win as a professional. All of his victories are by stoppage.
