Unbeaten Nick LeBlanc eyes 4th straight KO at Unified 52

Aug 29, 2023

CALGARY — Nick LeBlanc is quickly establishing himself as one of the top young prospects in Canadian MMA.

He ended his first three professional fights by KO, including two in the first round. He’s back in action at Unified 52 on Sept. 8 in his hometown of Calgary. He takes on top Brazilian prospect Diego Santos (4-1) at BMO Centre, LIVE on UFC Fight Pass.

LeBlanc was introduced to kickboxing while in high school. Now 25, the fast-rising featherweight has fans across Canada buzzing.

LeBlanc is pleased with his early success in the fight game, but he isn’t surprised.

“I can’t really say I’m surprised because I projected it,” he says. “It’s all been intentional, so it does feel good.”

LeBlanc predicts the good times will keep rolling against Santos.

“I believe I’m going to finish him in the first round by way of KO – that’s what I see,” he says.

A win will up LeBlanc’s record to 4-0. He wants to fight once again this year and sign with the UFC in 2024. From there, LeBlanc’s goals are simple.

“I want to get to the UFC, win some championships, make some money, and just enjoy the rodeo.”
