EDMONTON — A pair of Unified MMA Championships are on the line at Unified 42 on Dec. 17 at River Cree Resort & Casino in Enoch, AB, LIVE on UFC Fight Pass.
In the Main Event, Unified MMA Light-heavyweight Champion/Canada’s No. 1 light-heavyweight Graham Park (8-2) takes on Mariusz “The Iron Pol” Ksiazkiewicz (8-1) for the vacant Unified MMA Super-Middleweight Championship. Graham is going for his sixth straight first-round stoppage, while Ksiazkiewicz most recently represented Canada at Dana White’s Tuesday Night Contender Series in Las Vegas.
In the Co-Main Event, Canada’s best 155-pound contender, Shane “Shaolin” Campbell (18-8), defends his Unified MMA Lightweight Championship against Europe’s most dangerous lightweight Hubert “The Gipsy King” Geven (13-3). In addition to both men’s impressive MMA credentials, the two dynamic strikers have more than 100 combined professional kickboxing victories to their credit.
Campbell’s and Geven’s’ bout is one of two highly anticipated striking showcases on display at Unified 42, as Canadian kickboxing legend/former Glory kickboxing champion Simon “The One” Marcus makes his highly anticipated MMA debut against former Unified MMA title challenget Anton Tokarchuk.
Two more highly anticipated matchups on the card is Tom “Big Nasty” O’Connor (9-2) making his long-awaited Unified MMA debut against former title challenger Craig “The King of the North” Shintani (9-4), and a battle between top super-welterweight prospects Cole Campbell (3-3) and Chris Chapman (4-2).
