TORONTO – Unified MMA, Canada’s leading MMA promotion, debuts in Toronto with Unified MMA 55 on Jan. 19 at the famed REBEL Entertainment Complex, the night before UFC 297 takes place in Toronto at Scotiabank Arena on Jan. 20.

As always, Unified MMA 55 will stream LIVE worldwide on UFC Fight Pass.

The can’t-miss showcase event will feature several of Canada’s best fighters, including Pat Pytlik (8-1), Ergys Sigeta (6-0), Tom Theocharis (8-5) and many more.

This is Unified MMA’s fourth event in Ontario in the past 13 months. Unified MMA 55 marks Unified MMA’s debut in Toronto, after making its promotional debut in the province at Unified 48 last December in Mississauga. Since then, Unified 51 took place in Niagara Falls in June, and Unified 53 took place in Ottawa in October.

Unified MMA Founder/President Sunny Sareen: “Toronto has some of the best fight fans in Canada, and they’ve been demanding a Unified MMA event for years. We couldn’t be more happy to help set the stage for UFC 297, which is also going to be an unforgettable event.”

Unified MMA is Canada’s leading mixed martial arts promotion, showcasing the country’s top-ranked fighters, LIVE on UFC Fight Pass. The organization has successfully promoted 53 events across Canada since it was founded in 2009, and has propelled several athletes to the UFC’s Octagon.
